"Still" Lifes :: Martin Kilmas
Martin Kilmas takes these photos by dropping a ceramic in a dark room. The sound of the object striking the ground triggers the shutter and flash! These are amazing. I love the way the action of the original object is often magnified by the break! LINK
Driftwood :: Heather Jansch
Heather Jansch makes her sculptures from driftwood and though she seems to mainly stay with equine subject matter, my favorites are the deer.
Though the navigation of her site is a little tough, make sure to check out the Other Animals section. Scroll right for more thumbnails across the top. LINK
Hubcaps :: Ptolemy
Made entirely from found hubcaps, these sculptures bear the scrapes and scars of their previous lives and are not filled or overpainted. LINK
Tapeworks :: Mark Khaisman
Most of his work uses packing tape on plexiglass, allowing it to be backlit. Be sure to check out all of the galleries on his site to see different styles! LINK
PET Project :: Miwa Koizumi
Miwa Koisumi recycles plastic bottles to make her underwater creatures. LINK
Russian Prison Art
All of these sculptures were made from pen knives! Not sure if the information is correct that they were made by Russian prisoners nor the time of their creation though I presume from the strong communist stylings of many that they are from a bygone era. I like the cars and planes the most. LINK

Fantastic Characters :: Stephane Halleaux

Vladimir Gvozdev, aka Gvozd, has many different styles of illustration, but my favorites are these illustrations of mechanical animals. His site is in Russian, so a little tough to navigate. Here is the link directly to the gallery page. LINK
