Action Figures :: Mike Leavitt
These are completely unique! Mike Leavitt has created action figures of artists - in the style of the artist's own work! When I first came across them, I think I looked up most of the artists in his "Art Army" just to see how they related. LINK
Action Figures :: Sillof's Workshop
Sillof re-imagines well known characters for whom we may have seen other action figures before. His site features lots of steampunked characters including the action league, lots of Star Wars, and the Avengers. Also check out his dioramas. You can tell he has a lot of fun doing these. LINK

Paper Art :: Y. Nishimura
The cut and folded paper sculptures by Y. Nishimura are beautiful in their complex simplicity. Sure, that's an oxymoron, but check them all out and you'll see what I mean. LINK
Paper Sculptures :: Laura Cooperman
Shown here is one of her static works, but I really like the way Laura Cooperman incorporates old mechanical devices into her dynamic cut paper sculptures. See them all at her site. LINK
Multifaceted :: Chris Natrop
Chris Natrop uses other materials in addition to paper including glitter and string. Check out all of the work at the site. LINK

Tron a la Francaise
A cool remake of Tron. You have got to watch this video, especially if you're old enough to remember the original movie. LINK

3D Glass Drawings :: Xia Xiaowan
Some really unusual paintings on glass, multiple layers creating a 3D effect I would love to see in person. LINK
Look-a-likes :: Francois Brunelle
An interesting project of photographing unrelated people who look surprisingly alike. LINK
25 Years of the Brown Sisters :: Nicholas Nixon
Nicholas Nixon photographed the four Brown sisters every year for 25 years, from 1975 to 1999. See the entire series at his site. LINK
