This project has been ongoing for years now, and I'm sure there have been a ton of great uploads since I checked it out in depth back in 2007. Simply put, 3D rendering artists download a template of a sphere against a grid background then let their imaginations go wild and upload the results. See more at the site. LINK

This is a very sweet animated piece, complex in its components but simple in its geometry. Well worth the watch. LINK

This clip may seem pretty slow if you didn't know that all of it is CG animation, with just a few exceptions of the photographer shot against a green screen and a handful of doves. But knowing that the detail in the textures in the architectural elements, the mechanics in the close ups of cameras, not to mention the natural elements are all computer generated, it is simply amazing.
This is another one that is best viewed in full-screen mode. It's 12.5 minutes in length so if you don't have time to view it now, set aside the link for when your life could use some serenity. LINK
