I love the simplicity of these letterpress works made from dice. See more or buy one at the Etsy site. LINK

This father and son figured out a way to win/lose a game of monopoly in just a few seconds. Check it out. LINK

This is a cool concept for an animation. Old bitmap games take over our world! LINK

218,792 cards, 4,051 decks, and 44 days were needed to create the largest "house" of playing cards. Read more about it at Daily Mail. LINK

I won't give away what pictures he makes with his dice mosaics. You'll have to watch for yourself. LINK

Though very simple, this is still one of my favorite animations. LINK

I do wish the video quality on this were better. The graphic designers out there should still find it worth watching at least a bit of it. LINK
This was the original piece that inspired the Little Red Ridinghood piece posted here previously. LINK

I do wish I could see larger versions of these works by Matthew Cusick made from maps, to see more of the details. LINK

See twelve different animals put together from the same land-mass maps. LINK

A cool flickr set that shows where locals take photos compared to the tourists. Read more about it and find your favorite city. LINK

I like the concept. See instructions for how to make your own. LINK

This music video is quite a production. Another Rube Goldberg that obviously took a lot of preparation, and more than a few takes. Check it out. LINK
Michael Johansson has created a couple of series of projects that intrigue me. One is his organized pieces, fitting objects into spaces or shapes. Another are his life-sized "molded" objects. See them all at his site. LINK

After all of these years, this is still one of my favorite television commercials. Made completely from Accord car parts this single video took months to create and 605 failed attempts before one success. Watch it again! LINK

HBO, working with the Barbarian Group, put together this interactive website to promote it's story-telling. There are some really interesting components, such as one where we see the same scene from different points of view. Explore the world and unlock the mystery. LINK
NOTE :: At last check, HBO had taken this promotion off of its site.

Some are easy, some are tough, but anyone can play this Guess the Google game. LINK

A nice animation about a lighthouse keeper. LINK

These kids put together an urban battle ... using light for weapons. LINK

This duo, Cenci and Jens, really does light photography right! Nice use of shape, location, color! Check out their site! LINK

This guy has mastered the circular glow. I do wish he'd experiment a bit more with other shapes. See more at his site. LINK
The Character site is a place you can go to buy repurposed signage, one letter at a time. Neon is replaced with LED. But I particularly like the photography seen on the home page. LINK
A very cool time-lapse video made in Tokyo. Worth checking out. LINK

An ingenious concept for an interactive website. My favorite is the one that tears the shirt off of the model. Take control for yourself. LINK
NOTE: They've updated the site since the original posting here. But the interactive components still work similarly.

You really have to check out some of the creations of this Ukrainian team. Though mostly masks of a steampunk or fantasy theme, there are also some other creations found in the gallery and archive links on their site including a fabulous dragon back pack and even a steampunk doll! LINK

She does so much more than just paper masks and dresses including tissue over wire frames and folded paper. From geometric to organic forms, her site is worth checking out. LINK
