You may have seen the air bear before, but some of Joshua Allen Harris' later creations are even more fantastic. Creating creatures that are animated by the machinations of the city. What a concept.
See the original air bear video here. LINK And hear him being interviewed about his work and see a wider selection here. LINK

Though he does do works in other styles, Marcin Jakubowski has a fair share of high-quality Dieselpunk works in his illustration portfolio. LINK
I'm sure we'll see more Dieselpunk mods in the future but here is a modification of a PC done by a German named Joerg. I haven't been able to track down much more information than that but here is the original post. LINK

Lots of cute little oragami pieces, mostly simple forms. But I do wonder if any of these will make it through a vending maching anymore. Check out both sections.

A cool little project to redesign U.S. currency. Check out all of the denominations. LINK

Took me a while to find his site since lots of blogs have already shown his work. But I tracked it down. He makes awesome collages out of currency.
Totally worth the time to peruse the selections since the style and content does change dramatically from one piece to another. I wonder if the Feds ever give him a hard time about that pesky little law against destroying U.S. currency. LINK
Retired cigarette machines have been repurposed to vend art! Check out the web page to see all of the machines and to find one in your area. LINK
NOTE: Personal experience has shown that these machines may not actually be located at the sites listed on the website.
Carl Warner has done some pretty amazing landscapes out of food. To see them all, go to the Foodscapes section at his website. Well worth checking out. LINK

Developed by director Anthony Lucas, this animated film was nominated for both an Oscar and for a Bafta award. Well worth 26 minutes. LINK
I thought this a fitting post for Halloween.
Kris Kulski has done some very interesting sculptures, full of all sorts of details I wish I could see close up. Check out his page to see more. LINK
Some pretty out-there taxidermy by Lisa Black. She refers to them as "fixed".
Lots of dieselpunk/dieselpunk influence in these. See her Behance Network page. Other links to articles can be found there also. LINK

This is really far out. Hubert Duprat allows the fly larvae to be the artist, supplying them with the raw materials. You have got to read the full story. LINK
